Our volunteers are true angels among us! A frequent visitor at our Leavenworth, Kansas, Family Support Center (FSC) food pantry was behaving noticeably different one day. Pauline, a regular volunteer, noticed something wasn’t right and decided to call the client’s daughter for assistance. The client was taken directly to the emergency room, where it was noted her condition could have worsened had someone not stepped in.
We are grateful to have volunteers, like Pauline, that go above and beyond to help our clients in need!
