Founded by the Roman Catholic Church to meet the needs of the most vulnerable, Catholic Charities looks to Sacred Scripture and the traditions and teachings of the Church to guide our mission.
Our History
Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, a member of Catholic Charities USA and a ministry of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, has served our community for over 65 years.
Our Impact
Every year, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas animates the Gospel by putting love into action. See our impact over the past fiscal year and the difference we are making in our community.
Last summer, @catholiccharitiesks served over 30,796 nutritious meals and snacks to hungry children who participated in our 19 Kids Summer Food Program sites and after-school meal program. Help us serve even more children in need by volunteering with our #KidsSummerFood program!

We are just ONE WEEK away from the grand opening of our new TurnStyles Thrift store at 12065 Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park! Doors open at 9 am for shopping on June 25th. We`ve planned a number of fun activities, prizes and giveaways throughout the day and opening weekend. Come celebrate with us!

Our Topeka Family Support Center, food pantry and Corita’s Corner sandwich ministry are moving to 245 SW MacVicar Ave., a site formerly operated by Let`s Help, Inc. Our location at 234 S. Kansas Ave. is permanently closed. Services will resume at our new location at 9 am, Wednesday, July 15th.
