in Direct Financial Assistance helped keep individuals and families safely housed who were facing homelessness due to unpaid rent and utilities.

rural neighbors who have limited access to services received food, housing assistance, clothing, diapers and hygiene items through the Resource Bus.

expectant mothers received counseling, education, baby items and referrals to community resources through our Pregnancy Support Services program and 17 families connected with us through our Adoption program.

refugees received classes, coaching and/or support in navigating the US financial system. 46 refugee households opened individual savings accounts and 22 made asset purchases of either a house or a vehicle through our match savings program.

Olathe Haven, a 90-day transitional living program, welcomed 4 families, who received access to our food pantry and intensive case management and housing, employment and budget assistance.

and advanced their education through our St. Rita Workforce Development program, including 49 participants who attained their academic or certification credentials.

through Workforce Development programming with an average full-time wage of $20.00 per hour plus benefits and an average part-time wage of $16.35 per hour.

3 million meals were donated from individuals, parishes, schools, grocery store rescue and community partners.

helped feed hungry children who participated in our 19 Kids Summer Food Program sites and after-school meal program.

spent an average of 132 days at Shalom House engaging in long-term programming including financial coaching and job skills training. Of those who exited the program, 57% were permanently housed.

OVER 4,000 INDIVIDUALS

received rent and utility assistance, helping them remain securely housed.

170 FAMILIES (225 ADULTS & 129 KIDS)

increased their financial knowledge through the Family Financial Transformations (FFT) program. The average savings was $355/family and the average debt reduction was $1,639/family.

Nearly $3.5 million was generated though our TurnStyles Thrift stores and Morning Glory Estate Sales social enterprises to support Catholic Charities’ critical work in the community.
