Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas’ Kids Summer Food program is gearing up to provide summer meals to children in 26 local and rural communities across northeast Kansas. Volunteer responsibilities include:

  • Setting-up and cleaning-up of meal areas
  • Distributing meals to children and adults
  • Tracking meal counts
  • Participating in activities with kids to encourage attendance
  • Informing library patrons about the Summer Food Program and inviting them to join
