Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas’ Kids Summer Food program is gearing up to provide summer meals to children in 26 local and rural communities across northeast Kansas. Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Setting-up and cleaning-up of meal areas
- Distributing meals to children and adults
- Tracking meal counts
- Participating in activities with kids to encourage attendance
- Informing library patrons about the Summer Food Program and inviting them to join
