The dust had barely settled on the 43rd annual Snow Ball, when John and Mary Campbell, Patron Committee Chairs, and Joe and Melissa Valenciano, Table Committee Chairs, began garnering support for the next year’s event. The 44th Annual Snow Ball benefiting Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Overland Park Convention Center.

Joe and Melissa Valenciano help kick off this year’s Patron and Table Committee Meeting.

For the Campbells, Valencianos and 250 event volunteers, Snow Ball is more than a fundraiser – it’s a ministry. That’s why they stay involved year after year, working tirelessly to help neighbors in need. “Snow Ball impacts all of our programs and services, from providing food to hungry families to housing assistance to those at risk for experiencing homelessness to hospice care for the dying,” explains Ken Williams, President and CEO, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.

Through Snow Ball, Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas raises 50% of all private donations. It’s more than just a celebration—it’s an opportunity to give HOPE to our neighbors in need. The annual event has exceeded one generation and has become a multi-generational event with two-, three-, and sometimes even four-generations that celebrate together the joy of giving to help local families in need.
