Support our New Roots farmers by purchasing a late summer farm or flower share subscription.

Each week throughout the farm share, customers receive a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm box containing five to seven pre-selected, fresh produce ingredients from the harvest. All items are grown by New Roots trainee farmers and program graduates. So far, the spring and early summer farm shares have boasted gorgeous selections of nutritious vegetables, like spinach, arugula, mint, bok choy, scallions and more! Distribution begins on July 30, and customers pick up their orders from one of four locations around the KC metro:

  • Black & Veatch Headquarters – Overland Park, KS
  • Crafted Fair Trade (Formerly Ten Thousand Villages) – Overland Park, KS
  • Juniper Gardens Training Farm – Kansas City, KS
  • Midtown Park 39 – Kansas City, MO

Another great option is to donate a farm share!. Financial donations are used to purchase produce directly from New Roots farmers. Produce is then delivered to a local Catholic Charities food pantry to aid individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Donating a farm share is a tangible way to help New Roots farmers and your community obtain healthy food. We are so grateful for your support! Please visit newrootskc.org to learn how to purchase produce, donate or volunteer.
