Did you know that Refugee & Immigration Services is the most extensive of the 30+ programs offered by Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas? The program provides assistance to refugees and immigrants, helping them navigate the complexities of resettlement, citizenship and adjustment to life in a new country. The program aims to empower individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency, providing them with the skills and tools needed to successfully integrate in their new communities.

Watch this video featuring Sarah Merwin, Senior Program Director, to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of this program. Plus, join us next month as we honor our brothers and sisters from around the world at our annual World Refugee Day celebration at Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead! On Saturday, June 22nd from 10am-4pm, come enjoy delicious food, live music and games while celebrating the resilience and strength of refugees and immigrants.
