Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is proud to welcome our newest members to the Board of Directors! Our board consists of community leaders from across the Archdiocese who share their expertise and provide stewardship on strategic decision-making for Catholic Charities’ programming and administration of services.
Craig Connell is a retired engineer from Black and Veatch. He attends Holy Family Catholic Church in Eudora. Craig and his wife, Jill, have been involved with Catholic Charities in a variety of volunteer capacities – most recently participating in Snow Ball fundraising efforts.
Judith Kooser, MD, is a retired radiation oncologist. She attends Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Topeka. Judith brings a variety of volunteer and board experience – most recently serving on the Capers Foundation Board, an organization that helps individuals with different abilities and special needs.
Janet Mark is Assistant General Counsel for the University of Kansas Health System. She attends Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Shawnee. She has expertise in human resources and a diverse background in board experience, including Goodwill Industries.
Fr. Kent O’Connor is the current pastor at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Fr. O’Connor is a graduate of the University of Kansas and attended Mundelein Seminary in Chicago.
Tyler Wilken is Vice President – Corporate Controller with Murphy-Hoffman in Leawood. He attends St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Leawood. Tyler is an active participant in his parish’s marriage prep program and other parent volunteer activities at St. James Academy.
