You’ve heard the saying: good things come in threes. TurnStyles Thrift, a ministry of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, is counting on that with the opening of its third store at 5304 Martway in Mission, Kansas.

Unlike the two Overland Park locations, the new store exclusively offers clothing and accessories such as shoes, scarves and handbags. These items may also be donated at this location. In addition, there’s a donation bin conveniently located in a lot across the street for those who want to drop-off outside of business hours.

The new store is a result of TurnStyles Thrift wanting to be good stewards of the donations that come in. “We have been blessed with an over-abundance of clothing,” explains Zoran Misic, Director, TurnStyles Thrift Operations. “We needed another outlet so that these items, which have been generously donated to us, could bless and serve the community.”

The new store, adds Misic, also provides a meaningful service opportunity. “Volunteers are crucial to our mission,” he says. “They do more than help us process donations to the sales floor. They help us serve our neighbors.”
