Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is excited to announce a new partnership with Vertical Cold Storage! Located in KCMO, their state-of-the-art facility offers 300,000+ square feet of cold storage space and serves large national and regional food suppliers across the country. 

In August, Amanda DeYoung, Director, Supply Chain, worked with Vertical Cold Storage representatives on a cold storage program that provides Catholic Charities with flexible refrigeration and freezer space at discounted rates. This additional cold storage will allow our agency to pursue and accept upwards of 275,000 pounds of fresh or frozen food products that we otherwise would not be able to bring to our communities.
