April is National Volunteer Month and this week is National Volunteer Appreciation Week! Today and every day we are proud to celebrate the hundreds of passionate volunteers that have dedicated their time and talents towards supporting our agency programs. Our volunteers truly animate the Gospel of Jesus Christ by putting love into action, and we are so thankful for their constant support of our mission and devotion to helping those in need.
Last fiscal year, over 7,000 volunteers generously donated 148,468 hours of their personal time to serve out our mission – a financial impact of over $4.4 million! Nearly 53,000 of the most vulnerable children, women and men in our communities received help, hope and hospitality through one or more of our 30+ programs. The tireless efforts and commitment of our volunteers make our work possible!
