Trinity Threaders Ministry

In 2008, Ann Piette, Pat Wineland, Linda Moyer and Fran Mulligan formed “Trinity Threaders,”a unique ministry at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Lenexa. The group consists of women, men and children who sew, quilt, knit, craft and crochet together several times a month for those in need. Catholic Community Hospice patients are the recipients of those afghans, which are blessed by the priest and delivered by two Hospice volunteers to every new patient who comes on service. Catholic Community Hospice Volunteer Manager, Bonnie Krause, recently attended a tea hosted by the “Trinity Threaders” and presented them with an award for their dedication and labor of love the knitted afghans are for Hospice patients. Catholic Community Hospice is blessed to have various organizations who donate afghans, quilts and blankets to our Hospice ministry.
