Reusable Bags Raise Funds for Catholic Charities

During the month of November, every time a Hy-Vee reusable bag is sold at the grocery store’s 95th & Antioch location in Overland Park, Kansas, Catholic Charities will receive a $1 donation! The bags are located on displays around the store and at the check-out.

The Hy-Vee Reusable Bag Program is one that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities customers live and work. Catholic Charities has partnered with five of Hy-Vee’s Johnson County stores, coordinating a food drive on Saturdays.

“We appreciate their ongoing support,” says Cari Olberding, Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. “We are thankful to be chosen as the beneficiary for the November reusable bag promotion. Funds raised will help us continue our mission of serving those in need.”
