My name is Patty and this is my hope story…

I learned about the Kansas Loan Pool Project (KLPP) program by seeing a KLPP flyer at an agency that works with Catholic Charities.  When I found out that I didn’t need to be Catholic to get help at Catholic Charities, I knew immediately this program was the answer to my prayers.  You see, I had missed some work due to an injury and had fallen behind on my bills.  In order to make ends meet, I took out a title loan.

I was making the payments on my loan, but was not getting ahead.  I was motivated to change my financial situation, but until KLPP, I didn’t know how I could make the change.  My case manager told me about the program and I made an appointment for the next day – bringing in everything that was required for the application.   I’m so appreciative of Catholic Charities for the assistance I received. I’m excited to start making goals to get out of debt and start saving money!
