Hi my name is Molly and this is my hope story…

I am currently early on in my pregnancy. My boyfriend was arrested and put in jail, and so was struggling to pay the rent. Then, my car broke down and I lost my job entirely, was unable to pay rent, and this led to my eviction. I was staying in a hotel paid for by Kids TLC, and was receiving some support from them. I was referred to the case management specialist at Catholic Charities, who met with me and decided I would be a good candidate for Pine Street supportive housing. I moved in and have been doing much better. I spent some time making a resume with the case management specialist and applied for three jobs this week. My first doctor’s appointment for my pregnancy is next week. I am working hard to set goals with my case manager and preparing to be a mother. Thanks to their help, I hope I can provide a good life for my child.
