Jerrod’s Hope Story: Never too Late

Hi my name is Jerrod and this is my hope story…

At the time that I decided to seek out help from Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, I was living at Olathe Towers (income-based housing for the elderly and for those who are disabled.) I was referred to the Kansas Loan Pool program. With the assistance of my Good Samaritan case manager, I’ve been working very hard to stick to my budget and to pay off all my debt. I recently had to make the hard decision to give up my car, but I’m determined to stay active with the use of taxi vouchers that they have worked into my budget. I have made sacrifices in my daily life because I feel that becoming debt free is my number one priority, especially with the loans I had from my friends. I am proof that it’s never too late to get serious about your goals.
