Christmas Angels – Hope Hero Shout Out!

Thanks to the continued partnership with Curé of Ars Mothers Of Young Children (MOYC) and with the generosity of additional community supporters, Christmas gifts were provided for all the students at Our Lady of Unity School, Kansas City, Kansas, and some of their siblings.

The school has been the recipient of the Curé of Ars MOYC – Christmas Angel Program for the last four years. The goal after that first year was to work towards finding enough donors to ensure that all students were adopted. This year, that goal was accomplished. 209 kids were adopted! Regardless of the uncertainty of these last few years, the program has been able to continue with some minor adjustments.

This year a mom shared with us how grateful she was and how difficult this past year has been for her and her family. Her husband is currently unemployed and although she is able to work, making ends meet with three growing kids is difficult. Because of this program, they were able to have gifts under the tree for their kids this year and help things feel a little more normal.

“We are incredibly blessed by this partnership and are so grateful for the continued generosity, support and love for our families,” said Cally Dahlstrom, principal at Our Lady of Unity School.
