Each year, the support of our generous donors makes an incredible difference in helping Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas provide help, hope and hospitality to thousands of women, men and children in need. We appreciate your ongoing support of our mission and are excited to announce our new corporate matching gifts program that will help further our work. Through this program, you can turn a one-dollar donation into two, three or even four dollars!
Matching gifts occur when companies agree to financially match donations that their employees make to eligible causes. However, millions of eligible donors have no idea whether their companies offer such a program! As a result, more than $4 to $7 billion in available matching gift funding goes unclaimed each year.
We have great news! Through our new program, over 25,000 companies will match donations made by their current employees, retirees and even employee spouses!
Want to get involved? The process of submitting a matching gift request is simple. Here are the general steps:
- Check out our matching gift emails: Once you make a donation through our Donation forms, we’ll send matching gift emails to you that will help you know if you are match-eligible.
- See your eligibility: You can also check out our matching gift page to find out if your company offers a matching gift program. Just enter your employer’s name into the database and you will immediately receive your eligibility information.
- Submit a request: Request a matching gift from your employer by filling out a form. Typically, these forms are online, and you just need to enter a few details like the donation date and amount.
- Double the impact: That’s it! Once all the forms are submitted, we will then work with your company to process the matching gift. Feel good that you have doubled your impact!
