Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is incredibly grateful to Ascension Catholic School and Prince of Peace Catholic School for their recent participation in school serve experiences and food donation events.

During Ascension’s school serve experience, students learned about our mission and also volunteered their time at our TurnStyles Thrift stores, Hope Distribution Center and New Roots training farm. Students also donated essential items to support individuals in need who participate in any of our 30+ programs.

Prince of Peace students made a generous donation of 1,450 boxes of cereal, putting love into action to help feed those in need. They displayed their creative and generous spirit in a video featured recently on our social media. We are thankful for both schools’ commitment to serving others and support of our work!
