On the “Shepherd’s Voice” podcast Archbishop Joseph Naumann dialogues with Ken Williams, executive director of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, and Rodney Whittington, director of Catholic Community Hospice, along with Leah Lang, Certified Home Health Assistant, about how Catholic Hospice comforts those who are dying and facilitates a healing encounter with God that brings peace to the family.
Catholic Community Hospice provides care, comfort and support to address the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families faced with a life-limiting illness. As part of the mission of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, the multi-disciplinary hospice team serves people of all faiths by offering guidance, peace of mind and compassionate end-of-life care. The goal is to care for the whole person — body, mind and spirit.
