Extend this season of generosity into the new year! Support the 52nd Annual Snow Ball benefiting Catholic Charities Foundation of Northeast Kansas by making a financial gift or attending the event on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at the Overland Park Convention Center. Ninety-one cents of every dollar raised through Snow Ball helps Catholic Charities provide more than 25 life-changing programs serving over 74,000 individuals.

Ray and Sarah Evans and Kevin and Debbie Wilkerson are co-presidents of this year’s black-tie gala, which has become one of the largest charitable events in the Kansas City area. Joining them as honorary president is Archbishop Emeritus Joseph F. Naumann, whose first Snow Ball coincided with his first day as the Archbishop of Kansas City in Kansas in 2005.  “It was beautiful and inspiring to see this large gathering coming together to celebrate and encourage each other in generously sharing the gifts entrusted to them in the service of the poor of our community,” Archbishop Emeritus Naumann recalled.

Over the last five decades, Snow Ball has become a beloved event that draws thousands of guests for an evening of gratitude, love and life-changing hope. This year, nearly 2,000 supporters are expected to attend the evening, which will include a cocktail reception, sit-down dinner and dancing to the music by The Crossroad Sound. Unlike most charitable events, there is no financial ask the night of Snow Ball. All funds are raised prior to the evening.

Snow Ball is the largest fundraiser for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, and the agency relies on the event to help meet the growing need to feed, clothe and house individuals and families; provide further education to attain job skills for the unemployed and underemployed; secure employment at a livable wage; and much more.

“Snow Ball is a vessel to serve those who are marginalized, vulnerable and in need of assistance,” said Lauren Solidum, President and CEO, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.  “Through a meaningful gift to Snow Ball, you will help Catholic Charities remove the barriers of poverty that keep individuals and families from achieving self-sufficiency.”
