Saint Thomas Aquinas High School Helps Feed the Hungry- Hope Hero Shout Out!

106,890!!! That’s the incredible number of cans collected this year by the Saint Thomas Aquinas High School community during their annual food drive for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.

“We are so grateful for the Saints,” said Annette Bentzinger, Parish, School and Community Outreach Coordinator. “Every year, just as the shelves are growing bare at our Hope Distribution food warehouse, the Saints deliver. They are a great example of what it means to put love into action.”

Aquinas has been hosting the food drive for Catholic Charities for 13 years. Since then, the students, parents, faculty, local businesses and community supporters have donated nearly 1.3 million cans!
