KC Cares is a 60-minute radio program by, for and about the Kansas City nonprofit community. It is produced by Ruth Baum Biggus in association with Union Broadcasting. With KC Cares we endeavor to raise awareness of the activities of local and national nonprofits, highlight their upcoming events, and interview guest experts on issues of importance to the nonprofit community.

As of August 2015, over 150 episodes of KC Cares have been broadcast, streamed live and podcast. In that time we have profiled nearly 300 nonprofit organizations.

KC Cares is broadcast live at 3:00 pm every Monday on ESPN 1510 AM. It’s also streamed from the 1510 website at a little after 3:00 pm on Mondays. You can find podcasts of KC Cares at the iTunes Store.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
