Helping Afghan Refugees in Kansas—Interview on “The Shepherd’s Voice”

Archbishop Naumann interviews Lauren Solidum, President and CEO of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, about the Catholic Church’s  efforts to relocate Afghan refugees here in our community, and how people can help in this crucial work of mercy.

Recently in response the humanitarian crisis caused by NATO withdrawl from Afghanistan, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) asked Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas to participate in the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) Evacuation Project alongside of other Catholic Charities agencies and community partners to assist Afghan refugees with resettlement.
