In the last several years, the Golf Classic’s Fund-A-Need has successfully supported Catholic Charities’ summer food initiatives. Typically, donations are down nearly 50% during those months, yet the need increases by 27% as kids are home for break.
This year the circumstances are different , and the need for food is even greater.
Due to COVID-19, many businesses have closed their doors, and many jobs have been lost. As more and more families are facing financial hardships, they are turning to Catholic Charities for help.
This year’s Golf Classic will be held on August 24 at Lake Quivira Country Club. Your support of the Golf Classic will help our agency continue to serve families in need.
