The month of November is designated as National Adoption Awareness Month in the United States. It is a time that honors families and children of adoption. Since 1956, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas has served as a state-licensed child placing agency and helped hundreds of married couples facing infertility and medical challenges become parents through adoption. Over the past two years, our founding program has successfully placed three babies into loving homes and expanded its Pregnancy Support Services program to reach more expectant mothers throughout Northeast Kansas.
