Hello!
We both grew up in small, rural communities where family and faith were everything. We met in high school, reconnected at the local fair, and started dating. After seven amazing years, Johnathan proposed—it was the easiest “YES” ever! We love the outdoors, farming, and cheering on local high school sports, but we also enjoy cozy nights in.
Family has always been our foundation, and we knew we wanted to share that love with a child. We are so excited to welcome a little one into our home, where they will be surrounded by love, faith, and adventure.

HOPEFUL ADOPTIVE PARENTS
About Abby
Abby is the heart of our home and my greatest teammate. Whether she’s keeping things running during long nights on the farm or supporting my biggest ideas, her dedication never wavers. I admire her strength, even when she doubts herself; I see a woman who is far more capable than she realizes. She works tirelessly for our family but always provides a soft place to land. Her nurturing soul and ability to balance hard work with deep compassion make her the perfect partner. I know she will be an incredible mother—nurturing, supportive, and always putting our child’s needs first.
About Johnathan
Johnathan is my rock and the one who always keeps me laughing. He’s my biggest advocate, constantly pushing me to grow and try new things, especially on the farm. His “tough love” is matched by a huge heart and a tireless work ethic. Through this journey, we’ve learned to communicate better and lean on each other’s strengths. He is a dedicated provider who leads our family with faith and love. I am so proud to walk this life with him and know he’ll be an incredible father—guiding our child with wisdom, encouragement, and the kind of unconditional love that defines who he is.
Our Story
Some love stories begin perfectly…Ours began twice. Johnathan and I met in high school, went our separate ways, and years later fate brought us back at a county fair in 2012. I spotted him everywhere I turned — he never saw me — so I worked up the courage to message him. The rest is history. That second chance became over a decade of growing together, and I wouldn’t change a single part.
At our core, we are a farm family. We want to raise our children loving the land, understanding hard work, and taking pride in what grows from it. There is something sacred about caring for God’s land with your own hands — a truth I want our child to know in their roots. Our home is full of life — two jobs, the farm, and three dogs. Max, our corgi, is convinced he’s in charge. Jax, our lab mix, is our old soul. Diesel, our gentle giant, lives for neck scratches. On quieter nights, you’ll find us on the couch with popcorn, a movie, and all three piled on us.
Faith is the foundation of everything we do. We go to church, serve our community, and lean on God’s guidance each season. His will, not ours, leads the way. We both grew up in families that pour love into every moment — cookouts, game nights, and laughter that fills every room. That is the legacy we want to build. A home a child always wants to come back to, rooted in love, hard work, faith, and adventure. Johnathan is my safe place, and I am his. We can’t wait to share that with a child who deserves nothing less.
Extended Family
Johnathan’s family is close-knit and full of laughter. His brother keeps things lively, his mom is the life of the party — literally showing up in funny outfits — and his dad, a truck driver, makes every moment home count. My family is the same way. My fiery redhead brother never misses a chance for a dad joke, my mom is the glue who loves with her whole heart, and my dad is easygoing and always up for whatever comes next. Together, our families are loud, loving, and exactly the village we can’t wait to raise a child in.
Our Home
We live just outside two small communities, in what we like to call “country-ish” — peaceful and quiet, but not too far from town. Our home has a big yard perfect for fun and making memories, and we love hosting friends and family. Johnathan is the fifth generation to live here, and over the past five years, we’ve enjoyed remodeling and making it our own. Our home is filled with love, laughter, and adventure, and we can’t wait to share it with a child!
Our Pets
Our dogs—Max, Jax, and Diesel—are a big part of our family. They are friendly, amazing with kids, and always love to cuddle. Whether they’re out on the farm with us running around or curled up on the couch, they bring joy to our lives every day.
Our Favorite Traditions
Sunday crop tours are non-negotiable in our house — we load up, drive the fields, and stop to check on the how the crops are growing and if it’s rained how much rain we’ve got. Holidays mean loud, full tables with extended family. As we grow our own family, Sundays will always mean church first, then crop tours. Easter and Christmas will hold both the fun — hiding eggs, sweet treats, Christmas morning joy — and the meaning behind why we truly celebrate.
