Greetings!

We imagine this is a challenging time for you. As you try to make this difficult decision, we would like to take some time to introduce ourselves. We have known each other for over 15 years and we are still able to laugh and enjoy life together each day. We would love to grow our family and experience our lives together in a different way.

We hope that you see we are responsible and caring but also like to be active and have some fun. We would love to spend time reading books in the evening, teaching a child how to play sports, doing arts and crafts, and traveling to experience different parts of the world. We want to instill values such as a good work ethic, being truthful, generous, and kind, not being wasteful, and being financially responsible. Adoption would provide us the opportunity to share our life experiences and prepare a child to be an independent adult.

We are interested in an open adoption so the child can know their biological family and understand their unique family history. We hope this shows how much love and excitement we will have for your baby. We understand this is a difficult decision for you and we pray you have clarity to make the best decision for your baby.

We want you to know how much respect and love we have for you, as you embark on this difficult journey. We pray that you have the amazing strength for the journey ahead. We know that you want the best for your child and we pray that you will find us to be all that you hope for your child.

Our Story

We met in the beginning of 2009 when our friends started dating. Austin was a freshman in college and Julia was a senior in high school. Austin graciously took Julia to her senior prom when she didn’t have a date. We remained friends throughout the summer. We started dating at the beginning of the next school year and throughout college. Julia helped Austin study and Austin helped Julia not get too stressed out with her studies. We enjoyed our college life together, hanging out with friends and being involved with campus life.

After college we got engaged and then got married in November 2014. At the beginning of our marriage, we stayed busy as both of us went back to school. We then bought a house and focused on renovating it.

In 2019 we wanted to start a family but soon found out it was going to be a difficult journey to have a biological child. After years of trying, we decided to pursue our dream of becoming parents in a different way. Our difficult journey has only made our marriage stronger. We cannot wait to build our family through adoption!

Extended Family

Both of us grew up in tight-knit families. Our siblings and parents live in the same city as us so we get to see them often. Austin has a younger sister and his grandparents live nearby too. Julia has an older brother and sister. Both of our parents are still married and are retired. We always spend the holidays and birthdays with our families. We have a supportive family and this would be the first grandchild for both of our parents. We foresee a new grandchild getting spoiled. Our families have lots of love to give!

Our Home

Our peaceful home is located on three acres, in a quiet neighborhood, in a rural area close to the city. Our beautiful neighborhood is perfect for daily walks and we have plenty of yard for outdoor games/sports. We actually live across the street from Julia’s parents.

We love our city because there are plenty of events and festivals that keep us busy. We love to go on walks in the spring to see the flower gardens, enjoy outdoor activities in the summer, go to football games and tailgates in the fall, and view Christmas lights.

Our Pets

Our playful dog, Axel, is eight years old and keeps us entertained. He loves his daily walks, running free in the yard, and doing tricks for treats. He has a big personality and loves people, causing his full body to wag when he sees a friend.

Our Favorite Traditions

We like to explore new places and experience different cultures. We’ve been fortunate to visit many states and travel internationally and want to continue this as we build our family. We love to get into the spirit of the holidays. We like to build snowmen, color Easter eggs, light fireworks, grow our own pumpkins, and dress up for a themed party. Julia’s family has a long-standing tradition of watching Chief’s games together. Our faith is an important part of our life. We go to church every Sunday and pray together daily.
