Ashley is one of the rare people who truly gets joy out of doing nice things for others. She is caring and always puts the needs of others ahead of her own. Ashley enjoys going to our niece’s and nephew’s activities. After a long day of teaching, she enjoys snuggling on the couch with a good book.
When she becomes a mother, she will be extremely supportive and nurturing. She always has a positive attitude and is an amazing role model.
About Ryan

Ryan is an amazing husband, uncle, brother, son, and friend. He always seems to know what everyone needs before they know themselves. He is a great leader of our family and always puts faith and family above everything else. Ryan is patient, kind, and always makes life fun. He loves sports and has spent many summers coaching our niece’s softball team.
Your child will always be Ryan’s top priority. Ryan is going to make such a great father one day!
Our Story
Although we cannot have a biological child of our own, we have so much love and can’t wait to share it with a child. We are hoping for an open adoption to give your child all the support and love they deserve from all familial relationships. We dream of seeing our children grow up in our happy and loving home, where they can feel supported in creating the life of their dreams.
We have so much in common that it would seem that we were made for each other from the beginning! We grew up in the same community and graduated from the same high school. We first met through our mothers (who are good friends). We started dating in 2009. We enjoyed cheering on the Wildcats, traveling, and trying new foods together. We got engaged in 2011 and married a year later in July of 2012.
Many years later, we are still each other’s best friends. We tackle tough times together and find joy in each other’s company. We are excited to share our love and joy with your child.
Extended Family
Even though we each have small immediate families, we are both blessed to have large extended families. They are such a great support system for us. We still all get together many times throughout the year. Whether that be for celebrating the holidays, weddings or just an evening of fun, we love to get together. Our families are very excited for our family to grow.
Our Home
We are so blessed to live in a small, rural community. We have loving neighbors who have become family. We love our 1920s home and have poured much time, sweat and love into making improvements through the years. Our favorite part of our home is our beautiful deck, which Ryan built. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the sounds of our small town.
We are about 15 minutes away from some amazing playgrounds, great schools, a library, and many activities. Our community has so many great events year-round that we could never be bored.
Our Favorite Traditions
Holidays are huge events with our large families. We try to make each family event during the holiday season. We celebrate every birthday of our immediate family members with a big birthday dinner. Football season is also a very big deal in our house. We have had KSU season football tickets for many years and hardly ever miss a game. Traveling is one of our favorite things to do together. We enjoy seeing new places and trying new foods and experiences.
