Volunteer with St. Rita Program

CNA Tutor & NCLEX Study Buddy

Program Description

The St. Rita Program provides pathways for individuals pursuing healthcare certifications to gain employment and achieve financial stability. Through tutoring, mentorship, and workforce readiness, volunteers play an essential role in supporting students as they prepare for certification exams and professional success.

As a CNA Tutor or NCLEX Study Buddy, you will help students strengthen their understanding of healthcare concepts and prepare for state exams. Volunteers work directly with participants who are completing their CNA certification or NCLEX exam preparation. This opportunity is student-driven; students bring their own materials, and tutoring sessions focus on the areas they need most support in.

This is a rewarding opportunity for those with a background in healthcare or education who want to empower others entering the field. Bilingual volunteers are especially helpful as many students are English language learners.
