By attending or becoming involved with Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, (in cases, such as events, employment, volunteering, and more) you, by default, consent to photographs or video taken of your image and likeness. Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas uses media coverage for the sole purpose of advertising services and increasing engagement.

Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas strives to uphold the value and dignity of all individuals and as such, the agency will make every effort to respect your privacy. If a participant indicates that they would like to revoke consent (through the use of the “media consent form”) the agency will avoid the usage of their image and likeness. It is impossible for agents to track every individual involved with the organization. As such the inclusion of this option is an attempt to show courtesy to constituents, and is not legally binding.

As part of the agreement to be involved with this agency, CCNEK may use photographs, video and/ or audio for social media, printed materials, videotapes, audiotapes, webcasts or any other types of media productions that capture a participant’s name, voice, image and/ or setting and circumstance. In addition, the participant agrees to the display or non-commercial reproduction of said photographs, videos and/ or audio by not-for-profit organizations or third parties to whom CCNEK gives consent. This consent is ongoing, unless otherwise notified in writing, or through submission of the revoke consent form.

The participant understands that they and/ or their child(ren) will not receive any money or other payment for any such photographs.

The participant understands that minors and children will not be identified by name in any materials or publications mentioned above.

The participant understands that Catholic Charities cannot be held responsible for photos (taken and/ or used) when the participant actively decides to attend agency-sponsored events.
