Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, a ministry of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, serves the most vulnerable men, women and children of all faiths across our 21-county service area.
We are committed to walking our neighbors in need out of poverty. We provide more than 25 innovative programs and solutions that stabilize and strengthen individuals and families, moving them from a place of needing help to one of having hope. All services provided are based on need — not religion, gender, race or nationality.

Catholic Charities in Action
We welcome all our neighbors in need, whether they need emergency assistance such as food and clothing, or a path towards self-sustainability through financial education, skills training and more. 91 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our programming.

Over $11.2 million worth of food was distributed to hungry individuals and families through our food assistance programs.

170 families
170 families (225 adults and 129 kids) increased their financial knowledge through the Family Financial Transformations (FFT) program. The average savings was $355/family and the average debt reduction was $1,639/family.

30,796
30,796 nutritious meals and snacks helped feed hungry children who participated in our 19 Kids Summer Food Program sites and after-school meal program.
