Lin Lin Nywe was born in Burma and moved to the United States in 2009. She speaks Burmese, and has three children and a husband who help with her farm. Her favorite vegetables to grow are long beans because of their versatility, and says that she enjoys farming because, “it’s work that my whole family can do together— I grew up farming like this with my parents too. Lin Lin sells at the Lawrence Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.
