Ingredients
- 2 large bunches mustard greens, torn or chopped into small pieces (enough to fill a medium bowl-these will cook down a lot)
- 1-inch piece of fresh ginger root, crushed in mortar & pestle or food processor
- 1/2 small onion chopped.
- fresh cilantro and basil chopped finely.
- Spice mix of dill seed, coriander, fenugreek and black cumin (“kalonji”)
- Vegetable oil
Directions
- Preheat oil in a frying pan or work.
- Stir in onions, ginger, cilantro, basil and spice mix.
- Cook for a few minutes, then add mustards and cook wilted about 2 to 3 minutes.
