Interpreters at Catholic Charities provide an extremely important service, allowing the refugee clients we serve to communicate with our staff in their first language. When a refugee arrives in Kansas City, one of the first people they’ll meet is an interpreter, who’s there at the airport to greet the client, welcome them to Kansas City, and allow our case managers to communicate with their new client! Interpreters will be with our clients when attend Cultural Orientation or Job Readiness classes at Catholic Charities, when they have meetings with a case worker, and much, much, more!
Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is extremely grateful for all the interpreters we’re able to utilize! Our interpreters speak a wide variety of language including (but not limited to) Arabic, Burmese, Karen, Kinyarwanda, Swahili, and Ukranian! We truly couldn’t provide the quality of service that we are able to without them, so as an agency, we’d like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
