United Way of Greater Kansas City named Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas on its inaugural Impact 100 list of local community partners! These community partners were identified by United Way as those addressing the most vital health and human service challenges in our community.

Impact 100 organizations will receive unrestricted funding from United Way’s annual giving campaign to address each of the individual’s most pressing needs.

“We are incredibly grateful to be selected by United Way as one of the community’s most impactful agencies. It will be very helpful during these times where inflation and staff challenges demand greater flexibility to have contributions being less restricted than ever before, ” said Thom Fox, Catholic Charities’ Manager, Grant Proposals & Relations.

Every Impact 100 organization maintains a high bar of organizational accountability and effectiveness in terms of finances, governance and impact in the community. The United Way’s initial Impact 100 is diverse in terms of geographic regions served, organizations led by people of color, focus areas and more. This year’s Impact 100 organizations cover the following domains: child welfare, healthcare access, food security, housing and financial stability, positive youth development and early childhood development.
