TurnStyles accepts new items along with most gently used donations. The store offers pick-up service for larger items, such as furniture, for a minimal fee. Pick-ups are available for a suggested donation of $20.

We are always prayerful for monetary gifts to help fund Catholic Charities’ mission. We have been blessed with donations such as box trucks and cargo vans for pickup and delivery, retail store fixtures and accessories, sample clothing and discontinued items. If you have an item to donate, please contact us.

Items we accept:
Clothing (clean, without tears and stains)
Shoes
Furniture (free of obvious stains, tears and odors)
Housewares and small appliances in working condition
Antiques
Large appliances in working order
Books
Linens
Vacuum cleaners in working order
Musical instruments
Tools, power and hand
Electronics in working order (cell phones, stereos, etc.)
TVs in working condition (new to 5 years old)
Sports and/or camping equipment
Large toys
Canned and packaged food

We are unable to accept the below items for various reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Broken appliances
Console TVs
Furnaces
Hazardous materials
Items with mold
Mirrors or glass without frames
Furniture that is broken, stained or odorous
Paint
Computers and computer equipment
Mattresses and box springs
Cribs
Used strollers or high chairs

Donations to Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas are income tax deductible to the extent provided by law. Donated goods are deductible at their present fair market value. Internal Revenue Service code places the responsibility for estimating the value of the donated goods and services on the donor. “Fair market value” is interpreted as the price a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to accept. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation.
